Sleepy Owls Gig Poster 1

Gig poster for my former local Detroit band. It was the time when I first felt I designed anything that was very good. It was a turning point for me as a designer. The photo of the high flyer carnival ride was taken by me with a Holga camera. If you don't know what that is, look it up. I still have one. It's a cheap plastic film camera that uses medium format film which seems ridiculous. I did a lot of layers of textures and blended a mosaic pattern overlay. I was pretty proud of this one.
